About The Band
Maria Brodskaya is a young Moscow singer, songwriter, pianist and violinist, as well as an actress and photo-model.
She was born into a family of professional musicians, and at the age of four she began studying music, playing the violin and piano. By the age of seven she began writing music and with her first two songs she won her first composer award at the famous contest "Young composers" in Kiev (Ukraine). By now she is a winner of many contests as a singer and songwriter. She has performed in Moscow (Russia), Kiev (Ukraine), Berlin (Germany), Copenhagen (Danmark), Buenos Aires (Argentina). She has recently recorded her debute album "Apple-Moon". This is the mix of pop, soul, slavic folk, jazz and ambient music. It unites the modern and ancient musical traditions. East and West. Maria's music is influenced by Dionne Warwick, Michael Jackson, Sade, Sting, as well as slavic folk music...
In her album Maria is acting not only as a singer and songwriter, but also as a piano-and-violin-player, and an author of some arrangements of her songs, as well.
