This is rock and roll aimed squarely at people who value well-crafted songs that rock ferociously but never sacrificing the most sacred melody. It's power pop. it's garage, it's psychedelia, it's Stratocruiser. Hopelessly and irreverently out of step with the latest trends, Stratocruiser laces their happy rock sounds with hooks that are deep and wide and loud guitars that alternately are jangly and crunchy. Dollop on a heap of vintage keyboard textures (Hammond B3's, Mellotrons, electric pianos... mmm, creamy!) and this robust instrumental stew of sound deftly balances the melodic flair of songwriters Mike Nicholson & Clay Howard.
