RL Burnside crashed into the Buzzcocks somewhere on the M62.Out of that sorry wreckage emerged the one man punkblues band that is Hollowbelly.Sure, he has no large intestine, can't see in 3D and has, like Johnny Rotten, a psychotic stare (a gift left him due to a bout of near death meningitis as a teen).Yeah, he may have done time on many a hospital ward, and lived for a stretch on tranquilizers washed down with Jack Daniels, but there's plenty of life in the old dog yet.Like the man himself says-"I'm doin' good-there's more of me on stage than in the incinerator."
So here he is-a 3 string cigar box guitar in his hands,a blues harp at his mouth,a pre war marching drum at his right foot and a 1930's low boy at his left..scarred, fast and furious.Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Hollowbelly..
