About The Band
This band just evolved about 4 years ago. As a seasoned songwriter I had taken a break for a few years and had been producing local rap acts that grew up coming into our Record Shop (New Life Record Shop) (34 yrs.) I had a small studio on Music Row (Dixie Dogg Music Group), so I started my own Label (Legend Recording Company). 10 albums later and moderate success I needed a change so I got back into songwriting but this time on my own terms with a new approach to writing. I'd written a song I thought would be perfect for Shooter Jennings. So I gathered a few musician friends knocked out a quick demo in which I'd done the Vocals (something I'd never done before) I had always hired singers before.
Well the guys liked the vocals and song, so I wrote more and we started recording them as they were written. Next you know, we were out doing live shows something new to me but I took to it right away and we've been having a blast ever since. I write much faster than I can record, so I will be putting new songs as soon as I can. I hope you enjoy our work but my main goal is to "Keep Having Fun" Oh yeah the Bands name, came about as a joke. I thought it sounded like a bluegrass band and I visioned a old stationwagon with the name on the side with instruments on top. It just made me smile.
